At OfficeWork Software, we believe the solution to unlocking the value of our software is close collaboration between the companies we work with and our experts. We often find that by listening to our customers, we can direct them to finding solutions using the software they already own, saving them time and money.<\/p>\n<p>A shift in the modern day workforce, one set to continue according to 80% of executives interviewed in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accenture.com\/_acnmedia\/pdf-60\/accenture-strategy-shaping-agile-workforce-pov.pdf\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Accenture review<\/span><\/a>, is from role-based work to project-based work. Of course, this setup provides workforce management challenges. Teams must have the right mix of skills to fulfill the requirements of each project and supervisory responsibilities need to be addressed.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s where a visual workforce planning solution can add value. In this example, we helped one of the biggest entertainment companies in the world solve a problem they were previously spending hours on with a manual fix. A task they didn\u2019t realize could be automated. Allocation Charts were produced periodically by this company to better understand the project allocation for each director and their reports. Instead of adding this information manually, our solution OrgChart Now was set up to start pulling directly from <a href=\"\/products\/orgchart-now\/connectors\/orgchart-now-connector-directory\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">WorkDay via our integration<\/span><\/a> with that platform. Groupings and calculations were then made to create org charts which clearly showed the allocation of resources to each project within the hierarchical structure of the company.
